Dyson V11
The no-drama cleaner
with a very good screen.
The Dyson V11 is for people who care more about clean carpet than dust graphs. It sits between the older Dyson V10 and the newer V15. Most Torque Drive and Absolute bundles have an LCD screen, three cleaning modes and a High Torque or Motorbar cleaner head.
TechRadar’s October 2025 re-test found it excellent on mid-pile carpet and pet hair. The tester measured 65 minutes in Eco, 33 in Med and 15 in Boost. That is useful context for the “60 minute” claim. Read the 2025 re-test ↗
The LCD screen is the quiet hero.
It shows the cleaning mode, estimated run time and blockage help. You do not get the V15’s particle count. You do get less guesswork than with a basic LED battery light.
Design and daily use
The in-line body moves well as a stick vacuum. It can feel top-heavy as a handheld. The trigger must stay pressed, and there is no continuous-run lock. Tools and screens vary between the V11 Animal, V11 Absolute and V11 Torque Drive. Check the exact box before you buy.
